These pieces of information would be obtained in some combination of your CV/resume, a self-assessment you may have voluntarily filled out, through publicly available sources and/or third parties such as sources/referees, your professional networking profile, news reports, and our authorized background check providers.
Unless required or authorized by law, we do not retain sensitive Personal Information about you, unless you have provided it to us and affirmatively consented to our retaining such information.
Self Assessment: If candidates complete our Self Assessment, we may collect information such as name, previous and current employer, work experience, details regarding employment, responsibilities at work, values & culture, and any other information and responses they may provide. Providing additional personal data such as age, gender, and ethnicity is voluntary and will not affect the assessment results, and if on our records are only incidental to a conversation with you
How We Use Information
Daubenspeck and Associates maintains a system of organizational measures to protect your provided information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access and disclosure.
We do not disclose your information to third parties and clients without your knowledge and consent, and we do not discriminate based on gender, race, age, ability, or sexual orientation.
Be aware however that there is no true insurance against one or more cyber-attacks, which could result in your information being stolen. Daubenspeck & Associates does not accept liability for this. If this is a potential vulnerability that you are not comfortable with, please notify us and tell us to remove your information. Otherwise it is assumed you will hold Daubenspeck & Associates or our employees and owners harmless in such a circumstance.
It should be noted that Daubenspeck and Associates is not in control of what corporate clients do with provided information – specifically, placing potential candidate’s information into their internal database(s). As standard practice, we encourage our clients to not retain information given, unless the candidate is hired for the position. however, we do not have control over what clients do with the information provided, and cannot be held responsible for what the client does with the information.
